A Craigslist ad promised a $28.50-an-hour job to anyone who wore a blue, long-sleeved shirt, yellow safety vest, eye protection and ventilator mask and waited near a bank.

Cops said a group of eager job applicants dressed accordingly were waiting near a Bank of America branch Tuesday when one of them attacked a Brinks armored truck guard with pepper spray during a delivery, grabbed a sack of cash and bolted. He managed to elude pursuers after he splashed into a nearby creek.
